Putting murphy's law to the test!

At the break of dawn,
I was abruptly hurled out of my dream.
Taking with me all the sweets I could lay my hands on,
I took the term overpacking to the extreme.

As I drove to the meet-up point,
I was greeted by empty eyes.
Tired faces were joined,
under those dark and clouded skies.

The car ride was long,
and filled with stomping sounds.
singing on our favourite song,
the ups outweighed the downs.

After a short flight,
we waited on the bus.
but as we saw our bus drive off,
the excitement turned to fright.

"Damn I think we missed our stop"
Vince said in desperation.
so before the start of their vacation
the boys realised they'd fucked up.

And so the friends made some calls-
got food, drinks: call it a feast.
They ate and chilled on hospital walls,
And so the panick decreased.

They sneaked into a school bus,
they even rode for free!
They made it to the camping thus,
it ended like it had to be.

That night they acquired many friends,
heared stories, tales and legends.
They learned the journeys were as important as the ends.
as they told their own they overlooked some shaming details :p.
